The 10th book in the highly acclaimed Remembering Wildlife series of fundraising books:

10 Years of Remembering Wildlife celebrates a decade of the pioneering conservation book series which has so far donated more than £1.28m GBP to conservation causes and also has a special focus on the world’s most trafficked mammal - the pangolin. Featuring a foreword by Jonathan & Angela Scott and an afterword from Lisa Hywood of the Tikki Hywood Foundation, this book has images of all eight species of pangolins and information about their lives and conservation issues. It then also features some of the very best images from the previous nine books, plus 20 stunning new images sourced from our annual competition.

The book is full of beautiful images donated by 94 of the world's top wildlife photographers including Jonathan & Angela Scott, Marsel van Oosten, Frans Lanting, Art Wolfe, Greg du Toit and Steve Winter, with an aim to raise awareness of the plight facing not only pangolins but all species featured in the series, and also to raise funds to protect them.

The elusive and shy pangolin is one of the least-known animals on Earth and yet it also holds the dubious moniker of being the most trafficked. Poached for its scales and meat, more than one million have been taken from the wild in the past decade alone. Having evolved when threatened to curl up tightly into a ball, this is no defence against poachers and all eight species are now either endangered or critically endangered.

Pangolins are believed to be one of the oldest mammal groups on Earth, dating back some 80 million years to prehistoric times. And yet, in the comparatively mere 200,000 years that humans have been on Earth, we have managed to hunt them almost to oblivion. They desperately need our help.

With this book, we aim to shine a spotlight on their secretive world with the hope that people want to save what they know and love. Despite how rare images of them are, we’ve assembled beautiful photographs of both ground and tree-climbing species across Africa and Asia.

10 Years of Remembering Wildlife won Silver in the Nature category at the 2026 Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY Awards).
