Remembering Giraffes is the 11th book in the celebrated Remembering Wildlife fundraising series, which has so far raised more than £1.28 million GBP ($1.66 million USD) for conservation projects since it began in 2016. The aim of the creators is to make the most beautiful book ever seen on a species and to use that to raise awareness of the plight facing that animal and also funds to protect it. Each book is full of images generously donated by many of the world’s top wildlife photographers, with 66 contributing this year. All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to projects working to protect giraffes in the wild.  

For centuries, the world’s tallest animal has fascinated humans. Long-legged, at times a bit gangly, yet elegant and powerful, giraffes are instantly recognisable. In fact, they’re so familiar that many people assume they’re not under threat and they’ll always be with us. The truth, however, is that they’re now extinct in seven African countries and face ever-growing threats. As with other species featured in the Remembering Wildlife series, habitat loss and fragmentation, human-animal conflict, political instability and war, place immense pressure on wild populations.  

Supported again by many of the world’s top wildlife photographers, who have generously donated images, and with writings by people who really know giraffes, this book brings together breath-taking photographs and moving reflections that honour these extraordinary animals. Each page captures the spirit, grace, and resilience of giraffes in the wild, offering readers a chance to appreciate their majesty and their vulnerability.

Orders will typically dispatch within 1 business day unless the item is available for pre-order. All UK orders will ship via next-day courier with a flat delivery charge.

Delivery Charges:

• UK – £10 (Flat Rate)
• International – Delivery charges will be based on the weight of the order and calculated at checkout.

Orders that are shipped to countries other than the United Kingdom may also be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country, which customers are responsible for.
