Walk the Earth is Federico Veronesi’s first book entirely dedicated to one species, the African Elephant (Loxodonta africana), the creature that more than any other filled his childhood dreams and imagination. In particular, "Walk the Earth" is a photographic journey across the African wilderness in search of the last great tuskers of Africa. Great tuskers are charismatic individual Elephants carrying very long and heavy tusks, sometimes scraping the ground. From his first encounter with the legendary Tim, from Amboseli, to his relentless quest for the most majestic of all surviving tuskers at the moment, the elusive and mysterious Balguda, only seen by few rangers and researchers mostly from the air. When Federico finally found Balguda, he knew it was the time to tell the story of this journey, and the story of the last great tuskers who still walk the earth.

Featuring 192 pages in a 28 x 30cm format, with about 120 stunning color and black and white images, Walk the Earth is an immersion into the world of African elephants, exploring their behavior and the most amazing habitats where they live.

Proceeds from the sale of this book from our website will be spilt 50/50 between Remembering Wildlife and the photographer.
